For the Okra trade fair in Finland from 05-08 July, we have built a new type of movement pen that we will be exhibiting there. This pen is a further development of our Fit pen, which has already been installed in large numbers at WEDA customers in Finland. The main feature of this pen is its triangular geometry, which enables us to direct the sow in the movement area with the trunk to the trough. A reduction of the piglets' crushing losses is thus generated. We have been able to prove this in practical tests in Finland over the last few years.
Of course, the pen can easily be enlarged and adapted according to the new housing regulations.
